Interior Design

This business is about providing you with art and design. I think as an artist and that’s what makes my designs unique.

My company, AK Donahue Design, began as an experiment to provide custom art as an interior design element.

I started out by simply hand painting borders and other architectural details. It wasn’t long before I was painting huge murals and scenes with extensive detail.

The business was expanded to include all of the services that an interior design firm offers: drafting and architectural design, color selection, sourcing fabric and flooring, selecting furniture and accessories, lighting design and referring and supervising subcontractors.

Whether redesigning your kitchen or bathroom, building a new addition for a new den or home office, decorating a multi-family residence, or seeking to enhance the sales floor for your business,  I will ensure your needs are completely met.

My job is to enhance the space where you work and play, provide a relaxed atmosphere at home, increase the value of your real estate, boost the productivity of your office workers, and impel clients to engage your services.

I strive to understand your special needs and work to create the environments that fit you best.

My company, AK Donahue Design, has access to all of the latest fabrics, furnishings and finishes, and will use those resources to build and improve the spaces where you live and work.
